Bistro Montun is situated in the central part of the Viganj Bay named Montun. In ancient times, more than 2500 years ago local Illyrians builded several burial mounds known as MONTUN. Unfortunately not a single one survived modern buildings at the coast, and today only name remains.
At the entrance to the restaurants terrace you will find a reconstruction of a local Illyrian warlord wearing his traditional armor.
Bistro Montun has the most wanderfull view on the Viganj Bay and the old town of Korčula.
Bistro Montun is the only restaurant in Viganj that prepares food on the traditional way – on the open fire. The specialities is food prepared under the bell as well as lamb on spit. We are also pround with our pastas and fresh salads.
This year (2020) due to problems with COVID19 the food is prepared on open fire only with reservations

Working hours are from 10:00 – 24:00.
Lunch time 12:00-15:00
Dinner time 18:00-22:00 – in this period all the food is prepared on open fire
